Keel Boat Sailing
Depart for Mount Batten Centre Plymouth Friday 15th August 2008. Overnight accommodation at Mount Batten Centre and Hawk sailing all day on the 16th August 2008.
It will
Cost £60.00 per person. This includes B&B, packed lunch and full days sailing and instruction from Mount Batten Staff.
Extra costs will be an evening meal for Friday and Saturday evening and transport costs to Plymouth and home.

Welcome to the new Youth Development Sqaud (YDS) home page.
The YDS has been formed as a separate group within WSC Juniors with the specific aim of further developing the sailing skills of those Juniors who have successfully completed up to and including RYA Stage 4.
It will focus mainly on developing racing and seamanship skills along with other associated courses such as power boats (age dependant) and first aid for those who wish to progress to Assistant Instructor.
The group has applied for RYA Volvo Championship Club status which, if successful, will bring some additional funding and access professional RYA race coaches to come down to the club and coach YDS members. We also hope to run some social events if there is the demand.
Above all the YDS is committed to providing the training and development that Juniors want in a fun environment so it is important the members and parents give us their feedback, views and ideas, especially in these early days, so we can take these into account when planning the programme.
Finally, all these things don’t happen by themselves. If any parents or members feel they can help out it would be greatly appreciated so please let us know.
