Whitefriars Sailing Club - Membership

Whitefriar's Sailing Club is a friendly club open to all ages and levels of experience. We offer RYA courses at all levels, if you wish to learn to sail. There is also racing on almost every Sunday of the year, as well as on Wednesday evenings through Summer.

We have a very active Juniors section, which meets on several weekends over the Summer. There are many social events organised, including the annual regatta and hog roast, and the dinner and dance.

WFSC also has a very succesful Sailing for the Disabled Group, where handicapped members are able to take great pleasure from sailing, with help from able-bodied volunteers.

We hold open meetings for Laser 2000s, British Moth, Laser EPS, Comet Trios and Versas and RS500's. You are able to sail any class of monohull boat at Whitefriars, however we do not accept multihulls. Popular classes are Lasers, Albacores, Laser EPS and RS500.
